Epiphany Vase in White
Epiphany Vase in White
The Epiphany Vase series show the same glass techniques as the cups, but in a closed vessel form.
This family of vases are inspired by the paintings of Amy Bernstein, American painter currently living in Los Angeles. All have a base color of white, the canvas that holds space for the composition at play. Moments of colors carefully chosen and choreographed around its form. Amy’s paintings portray dynamics of relationships, interactions, and our perceptions of them.
“My paintings are intended to slow down the constant feed, to encourage the viewer to reposition themselves in relation to who they are, what they see, where the body exists in time and space ... The title of each piece is designed to mimic the visual juxtapositions found within the paintings.” -Amy Bernstein
This vase comes in either ‘Mountain’ shape, in which the walls cascade down from the small opening, like flowing fabric, to a wide bottom. The Pilar shape has straight walls with a domed top. They stand 4-5” tall and sit at 3.5-4” wide.
Each piece varies slightly in size and pattern, the piece you receive will have the same colors and shape but is not the one pictured. Each is sculpted by hand and one of a kind.
