The Vaporum table lamp, a collaboration between BaleFire Glass and Splinter Metalwurks, pushing the boundaries of transmitted and reflected light. Like a captured cloud of interstellar gas and dust, the Vaporum lamp has a dynamic feeling of movement and volume. Available in either Iris Gold or Miracle Blue, the sculpted blown glass can appear one color when the lamp is off, reflecting light from its surface. Once turned on, the transmitted tones are of a different color spectrum, see how different colors and shapes are thrown onto different surfaces.  Held strong by hand formed brass, with a faceted spire of machine brass suspended inside holds the light source. The Vaporum lamp is a sculpture in itself.
